Okie Dokie... Here are all the not so relevant pictures and what I did during the Nokia IAC at Zouk on the 10th May...

well, for starters!! I got a VIP pass man!!!
But, why was not it relevant?
I got it when the event was going to end, just to get into the loft for dinner from Nokia.. :D

The Velvet Underground resounding to the beats of DeeJays and Hip Hop acts...

Ok, so, I don't have much chun pictures..because Velvet was so dark, and my flash unit doesn't have a diffuser...

But, all I say was that, it was fantastic.
There were DJ Clinic by none other then, DJ Fuzz.. Point Blanc (IpohMali dudes) was there too...

It was so great that this dude came and shuffle on the dancing floor..

Ok..now people, lets go back up to Zouk Main Room...

and look...Deserters!!

In the Main Room is all about independent Rock bands!!
You know, those kind of head banging music your mama don't want you to listen at...but you still do...

Deserters was great!! Its not your average rock band!! It's your LOCAL rock band!!

Ok, the sky is getting dark.. lets go out to Terrace Bar..

Because, Pete Teo is there!!
The most successful English singer songwriter in Malaysia!!

What is Nokia IAC?

"Nokia IAC is a programme by Nokia that celebrates independence and music, and it's ability to cross boundaries and unite communities. It is a platform to promote the discovery of home-grown music and talent and provide opportunities for new artists to be heard by more people and for music fans to discover new/fresh music in the digital space. anyway, the group which compose majority of DGMB-ians..haha... a new form of way to call group memeber.... meet up burger king with some of them.... due to the fact that some of us don't know where Zouk was... I guess they weren't the clubbing bunch of people..

As usual, some of them were...late!! but still tolerable...

So we all urgent to Zouk..worrying about the 3pm shut the down and you can't get in time..

Nokia IAC at Zouk KL (The first part of many part to come)

Just got back from Nokia IAC event at Zouk KL..
Special thanks to David, the one in Nokia, and Nigel, the one in Quiksilver, me, Hwei Ming, hopefully the one from DuPont.. hehe... for the passes into Nokia's IAC..

Just to start with, IAC stands for Indepent Artists Club and it is a part of Nokia...
It is to bring music into the digital age, and make underground bands, above ground.. :p

anyway, it is my very first time at Zouk, KL, and I got to spend time with most of the bunch of noisy bloggers i when movie outing with...
